Gating setup steps in Discord

1. Permissions

Discord Settings

• Ensure that the Flipsuite bot is moved above any roles you wish it to assign in Server Settings > Roles.

  

2. Spawn

Spawn a message for users to get their roles.

• Set up a channel in Discord where your users have view permissions and turn off send message.

• When you invite Flipsuite to your server, an Admin channel is spawned. If you don't see it, run the /setup command.
• Navigate to the gating settings by clicking on settings. > modules. > gating.> menu.
• Tap spawn. and select a channel. Once spawned, you'll see this embed:

3. Usage

• Users will tap verify and follow the steps in the channel gating was spawned.

• Gating will automatically reverify every 7 days or every 24 hours with a premium subscription.
